Tevra Ezette Foy was born in Warrenton, Virginia to Clarence Williams and Diane Yates (deceased). Coming from a small family of 3 girls, she is the proud mother of five daughter and three sons. She is the grandmother of ten children, five beautiful granddaughters and five grandsons. She is married to her childhood friend; both are military veterans. She was raised in Reston Virginia where she graduated from South Lakes High School in 1986. She did 8 years in the Air Force Reserves as an Information Management Journeymen station at Joint Base Andrew AFB work for 459 Air Refueling Wing / Communication Flight and 759 Air Refueling Wing / Logistics. Tevra currently works as a system engineer with Peraton, Inc.; with over 24+ years of experience in systems engineering. As a contractor she has a wealth of experience supporting many different agencies though out the National Capital Region portion of the Washing Metropolitan Area colloquially known by the abbreviation “DMV” which stands for the “District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia.” She has an A.A.S in Business Management from Northern Virginia Community College, B.A in Business Administration, and a M.B.A with a concentration of Information Systems Management both from Strayer University. She continues to serve her community and is an active member of Kappa Epsilon Psi Military Sorority Incorporated; where she holds the position of Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the NVA Delta Chapter in Woodbridge, VA and active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated of Psi Omicron Zeta Chapter Manassas, VA. She currently resides in Woodbridge, VA where she enjoys serving her community, reading, traveling, music and life.
