Erin Wilmer, a native of Pensacola. She retired from the Navy after 24 years of honorable service. Among various commendations and achievements throughout her naval career, she is a 3-time recipient of the National Defense Wartime Service Medal, for Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom. She earned numerous medals while earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Southern Illinois University.
Currently, she is a Financial Planner and Advisor and diligently serves her clients. Erin grew up attending church regularly with her great-grand parents and gave her life to God at an early age. As an adult, Erin strayed from God and rededicated her life back to him in 1999. She has served faithfully in various roles and responsibilities in the ministry for over 20 years. Erin cherishes being a wife to Steve of 24 years and a mother to Judah (20), Josiah (19), Joi (15) and Jayna (13). Steve and Erin teach a FREE Financial Bootcamp on the eight biblical principles of money and share their testimony on how GOD brought them out of debt and welfare. It’s their mission to help break generational bonds that keep people from reaching prosperity and wealth. Through their ministry, the Evening of Romance, Steve and Erin share their testimony on how God restored their broken marriage. Their desire is to represent a godly, fruitful, vibrant marriage. Erin’s first book, a daily devotional, “GOD’s Chocolate Chips” was released in February 2020. She remains faithful in her many roles in ministry and lives out her commitment to God daily. She says that GOD commissioned her to edify and encourage everyone she encounters. She describes herself as “I am a wife, a mother, a business owner, a veteran, an author, a speaker, a licensed and ordained Elder but most of all, I am a servant.”
