Brenda Lee McCall was born and raised in Lynchburg, VA. She is the youngest of five children born to Ella and Sandy Robey, Senior. After her graduation from E.C. Glass High School in 1975, she enlisted as a member of the Women’s Army Corps (WAC) and served in the Virginia National Guard for one year as a Medical Specialist.
Brenda enlisted in the Regular Army, Quartermaster Corp at Fort Lee, VA in 1976. In her rise from Private to Sergeant Major she has served in a variety of positions and assignments which has included duties as Supply Sergeant, Instructor, Small Group Leader at the NCO Academy-Fort Lee, Property Book Team Chief, First Sergeant, Operations and Directorate Sergeant Major for the Military District of Washington, Ceremonies and Special Events, and Senior Enlisted Advisor for the Logistics Directorate, Joint Task Force Armed Forces 55th Inaugural Committee.
Her awards include the Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medals, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medals, Army Achievement Medals, Army Good Conduct Medals, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Global War Terrorism on Service Medal, Non Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbons, Overseas Service Ribbons, and the Korea Defense Service Ribbon. While serving in the Division Support Command, 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii she deployed to Port De Prince Haiti in support of Operation Restore Democracy and earned the Humanitarian Service Medal. Brenda retired in from the US Army in 2006 cultimating a thirty year distinguished career of dedicated service to a grateful Nation.
She obtained a Master of Science in Logistics Management and a Master of Science in Acquisition and Contract Management from Florida Institute of Technology, Bachelor Degree in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College, and an Associate Degree in Management from Hawaii Pacific University.
She currently works for the Department of Defense, Defense Health Agency in Falls Church, VA as an Accountable Property Book Officer/ System Analyst. She is devoted in taking care of her 99 year old Mother. She enjoys spending time with her daughters, grandchildren, family and loved ones. She enjoys volunteering and assisting others in need.
She is a Founder of Impact100 Global Veterans, member of DoD Senior Professional Women’s Association (SPWA), member of Kappa Epsilon PSI (KEY) Military Sorority Incorporated, member of Top Ladies of Distinction (TLOD)-Dale City-Prince William County Chapter, and a member of the American Legion Post 55 in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She is a team player who believes that teamwork divides the work and multiplies the success.
Brenda currently resides in Triangle, Virginia.
